Introducing mnoGoSearch Search Admin
What is Search Admin
mnoGoSearch Search Admin is an ASP search solution for Internet
service and hosting providers. It is covered by the mnoGoSearch Search Admin license agreement.
With mnoGoSearch Search Admin providers
can offer site search services to their customers. mnoGoSearch Search Admin
allows Service provider's customers to enable search on their websites without
installing mnoGoSearch.
How it works
mnoGoSearch search engine software is installed on Provider's server. Indexer
data for every user's website is stored in a shared database. Users can log in
to Provider's server where mnoGoSearch is installed and easily configure mnoGoSearch
to use with their site. Provider can add, remove mnoGoSearch users and monitor users'
activity.
Search Admin Features
- Configuration is very simple for users and is done via web-interface;
- Users can change the layout, colors etc. used on the search results pages;
- Administrators may add or remove users easily;
- Administrator can set URL, category, language, charset and basic_auth variables per user;
- Other variables are set by administrator from default values (which can be edited once for all users);
- Various indexation statistics can be viewed by administrator on a per-user basis;
- All indexer information is stored in SQL database (currently only MySQL and PostgreSQL are supported, but we plan to implement support for other SQL databases).
